After earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of the Philippines Manila, Maria graduated with honors with a Master of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Grand Canyon University. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing.
Maria covers inpatient and outpatient GI hospital rotations and has a special passion for hepatology. She enjoys teaching new NPs and students as well as counseling patients on how to manage their GI problems. Maria strives to provide her patients with the best care possible incorporating tailored best practice guidelines.
Away from the office, Maria loves to read, watch movies, travel, and work out.
