Dr. Ben Elizondo is a board-certified gastroenterologist with more than 20 years of experience providing compassionate, patient-centered digestive healthcare. He earned his undergraduate degree from Harvard University and received his medical degree from University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. Dr. Elizondo completed his residency and fellowship training at CMC of Dallas and Parkland Hospital, with additional advanced training at Baylor Medical Center.
Throughout his service-oriented career, Dr. Elizondo has served as a chief medical officer for a hospital, medical director for a county health district, reviewer for a state medical board, and committee member for national professional organizations. These leadership roles reflect his commitment to advancing quality care and improving the patient experience. Above all, he is passionate about building trusted relationships with patients and ensuring they feel informed, respected, and comfortable throughout every step of their care journey.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Elizondo enjoys staying active through regular exercise, reading, and supporting his family in their outdoor pursuits.
